3.1.1 make-dialog returns always -1

Hello, today i found time to install stk-3.1.1 under linux. See what
happens:

    (let ((debug (stk:make-dialog
                :title '|Beware| :text "discard changes?"
                :default 0 :grab #t
                :buttons (list
                          (list "No" (lambda ()
                                       (display "No")))
                          (list "Yes" (lambda ()
                                       (display "Yes")))))))
            (write debug)(newline)
            debug)


what ever button i press, i get

cd ~/editor/
main.scm
No-1
Yes-1

Other things work fine ..
