dynloading needed for stklos?

Do I need shareable libs to run stklos?

I am trying to port STk to MachTen, a Unix running under MacOS. MachTen for
68k Macs does not have shareable libraries. The demos with extension .stk
run fine!! Those with .stklos produce a core dump. Anyone in the know?
