weird text widget binding

If you click and drag to the right and down in a text widget, it will
highlight the following text, but you can't click and drag up and/or
left and have it highlight. Pretty weird.

I guess this is more of a Tk weirdness than an STk thing, but is there a
way to fix this through a binding, perhaps?

Also, there is no way to highlight more than is visible in a text
window. Many text things other than Tk allow you to drag past the end of
the window, and it scrolls down, letting you highlight large blocks of
text. Is there a way to make this possible through STk bindings?
