stklos 0.53 on alpha

Version 0.53 has problems compiling on my alpha (running Linux):

  In file included from gtk-glue.h:28,
                 from gtk-glue.c:28:
  gtklosconf.h:31: gdk-pixbuf/gdk-pixbuf.h: No such file or directory
  make[1]: *** [gtk-glue.o] Error 1
  make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/local/STklos/stklos-0.53/gtklos'
  make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

gdkk-pixbuf is not generated. How to get over this and gain a compiled version?
