Hi,
I guess this is nearly to be expected... I looked at STklos on my (intel)
laptop, and having just tried a few things, and made the very, very few
changes needed for those scripts to transfer from stk to stklos (ah - a great
sigh of relief. Thank you!) I went about to install stklos on my work machine,
an alpha, and I got the expected segmentation fault (64-bit problem). Setting
CFLAGS=-O0, a solution that made stk 4.0.1 compile and work correctly did not
help this time, the segmentation fault
-| ../src/stklos -b ../src/boot.img \
-| -e '(compile-file "gtklos.stk" "gtklos.ostk")'
-| make[1]: *** [gtklos.ostk] Segmentation fault (core dumped)
persisted. I really want to make stklos work on Alpha Linux -- so any help
would be appreciated. (I am trying to get my hands on compaq's (for Linux
free) C-compiler, but somehow couldn't get there, yet.) It would be of course
ideal to have stklos handle 64bit correctly.
Thanks for any help,
Rembrandt
