In theory you should be able to bind 2 & 3 to the same bindings as 1
for press and release. I think the animation is nothing more than a
change of the 'relief attribute.

You'll have to look at the man pages and source (.stk files in the STk
directory of the install) to see exactly how it's done - in particular
'button.stk'.
