Right, it runs on SPARCs (Ultra and "normal" ones, the problem appears
on all processors).

I didn't compile it, I used the binary version found on the STk site.

BTW, I noticed a strange thing: when I have several "stk" running,
they all start using 100% of the CPU at the same time! It looks like
they get some external event which makes them behave badly.
