The problem seems to be that you have hash.sl in your directory and that
hash.stk elsewhere. You should modify your *load-path* or *load-suffixes*
variable (the rule consists to search in the *load-path* directories in
sequence
and for each directory to try loading the file without suffix followed by the
suffixes found in *load-suffixes* in sequence).
