[STk-3.1] stk is eating memory in interactive mode (linux--ELF)

Hi,
I got some problems under linux with stk interactive : the process
is eating *too* much memory when the reader is waiting for user (keyboard) input.
This problem seems to occur in interactive mode only, i.e when
i invoke stk by one of the following :

stk or stk -l <some startup file>

There is no problem when I use the -f option.

I did not inspect too much but "strace" reveals a repeated select
call. Maybe a too low level value for a time-out ?
