Wait tomorrow for STk 3.1. There is a new implementation of sockets
which allows multiple clients.
There are a few features I would be interested in seeing in STk that
are somewhat related to sockets.
* Conversion of network order integers to IP addresses and vice
versa. This is useful in communication with other programs that
require the integer format for addresses. Specifically, the DCC
protocol (described in
ftp://cs-ftp.bu.edu/pub/irc/clients/ctcp.spec)
uses it.
* A way to look up the host name and IP address of the machine STk is
running on.
Could these be considered for the 3.1 release?
