STk 2.2 / BSD 4.3 / Motorola M68040 build errors

Hi!
I am having problems building STk 2.2 on my machine.
I have a Motorola 68040, running BSD 4.3, with X11R5.
The configure script shows a number of things missing
(including uname).
I've appended the configure log and a make log below.
I would greatly appreciate any help!
