ELF experts quiz:image dump with ELF, my pragmatic solution

I found a solution which works, but i dont know why and that is
unsatisfactory:

i extracted malloc.o from libc.a and linked this part statically. That
was the hit. The rest is still dynamically linked! Why does this work?
(a big progress compared with my former question :-))
