Strange interaction with X loading stklos.so

We have a multi processor Sparc. which configure describes as a
SunOS-5.3-sun4m. On this machine, stk will start fine however if i do

(describe describe)

or something to load stklos.so. I get a core dump during the load of
stklos.so. I only have this problem when using a Sun X server to display
the default stk window. If i use a Mac X server running eXodus for
example, it loads the .so fine.

As a work around, i can move the (describe describe) to my ~/.stkrc file,
before the default stk window comes up and everything is fine too.

Has anyone else seen this kind of a problem?
