STk-2.1.6: segfault in garbage collect...

I just got a core file due to a segmentation fault.
The topmost few entries in the stack, according to dbx, are:

Unfortunately, I repeated the same thing again, and this time it did
not dump core...

STk-2.1.6 running on SunOS-5.3, compiled using gcc-2.6.3.
