STk on Dec AXP OSF1 v2.0

Hello, I'm pretty new to Stk and scheme and I would like to know
if anyone is using it STk 2.1(.3 ?) on a DEC AXP OSF1 v.20 machine.
I having lots of core dump due to segmentation fault.

in the 2.1 when I do some mistake in the inspector
in the 2.1.3 whenever I reference an unbound symbol

Is this normal behaviour (I doubt it, ... but who knows ;-)
Is anyone experiencing the same problems ?
Did I misscomfigure something ?
